GastriSoothe herbal blend

GastriSoothe is an astonishingly effective new herbal blend, developed from direct experience specifically to soothe tender stomachs, or to prevent them becoming disturbed during difficult times, such as boxrest or the use of bute.

It consists of:

Slippery Elm

The finely powdered bark of the Slippery Elm contains a complex mixture of polysaccharides that form a gelatinous 'goo' or mucilage that is amazingly soothing, and helps to protect the gastric mucosa. It also contains high concentrations of antioxidants and flavonoids including proanthocyanidins.

Aloe Vera

Aloe is well known for it's use as a soothing agent to support healing, with a particular affinity for endothelial tissues and the gastro-intestinal system. It has several valuable antioxidant and nutritive constituents. Our high purity dried extract is super-concentrated and delivers the equivalent of a generous daily dose of natural juice.

Chinese herbs

The two premier ingredients are supported by complimentary antioxidant chinese herbs with a reputation for balancing and stabilising gastric function.

Linseed

Our micronised linseed base provides another excellent source of mucilage to soothe and protect.#
