VMD Guidelines

The Veterinary Medicines Directive have very strict rules on what consitutes a veterinary medicine, and that would include any substance which can 'alter a normal physiological function'. Any claim for any nutritional substance to be able to do so would render it liable to being categorised as a medicine and subject to rigorous controls on supply.

So, as it is our earnest desire not to contravene any regulations, you might see repeated use of phrases like 'helps maintain normal function of the endocrine system' in our attempt to give you guidance on the functions of the nutrients and products we stock!
